At Department 16 Candle Studio, we take great care in ensuring that your candles arrive safely and promptly. Please review our shipping policy below for important details regarding processing, delivery, and tracking.

Processing Time

  • All candles are hand-poured to order to ensure quality and freshness. Please allow3-5 business days for processing before your order ships.
  • During peak seasons or sales events, processing times may be slightly longer.

Shipping Rates & Delivery

  • We currently ship within the United States. International shipping will be available soon!
  • Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and order weight.
  • Estimated delivery times (after processing):
    • Standard Shipping: 5-7 business days
    • Expedited Shipping: 2-3 business days
    • Overnight Shipping: 1 business day (available for select locations)

Order Tracking

  • Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking updates to reflect in the system.

Damaged or Lost Packages

  • We take extra precautions to package our candles securely, but if your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damaged items. We’ll be happy to assist with a replacement .
  • If your package is lost in transit, please reach out to the shipping carrier for assistance. If unresolved, contact us, and we will work to find a solution.

Address Errors & Returns

  • Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
  • If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, the customer is responsible for reshipping costs.
